Suggested Use: Use as directed. Failure to follow instructions, warnings and cautions could result in hot or cold burns to the skin. PREPARATION Microwave: Gel pack should only be heated from room temperature state; never heat from frozen. Place gel pack on paper towel in center of microwave. Heat for no more than 50 seconds; knead to distribute heat throughout the pack. Continue to heat in 10 second intervals until desired temperature is reached. Microwave wattage power levels vary. As microwaves age, power output may decrease. If pouch begins to expand, discontinue heating immediately. Freezer: Place gel pack in freezer for a minimum of 1 hour before use. Gel pack may be stored in freezer for immediate use. APPLICATION • Inspect gel pack for cracks or tears before use; discard if bag is torn or leaking. • Apply gel pack to treatment site. Monitor skin during use. • Approximate therapeutic time is 10–20 minutes.
